The goals
of the foundation
The Karl Bröcker Foundation helps where help is needed - at home and abroad.
“A future for children” – that is the guiding principle of the Karl Bröcker Foundation.
Children are the future! And yet there are many children and young people without opportunities for a happy, free life, security, health and education.
Helping them is the aim and task of the Karl Bröcker Foundation.
We give children a future
The Karl Bröcker Foundation, based in Lippstadt, was established in 1999. Since then, we have supported and launched numerous projects and facilities. We do not limit our support to one city or region. The Karl Bröcker Foundation helps where help is needed – at home and abroad.
We support kindergartens, schools, medical and therapeutic facilities. We focus on educational and therapeutic projects. The Karl Bröcker Foundation is there where children and young people need support: it gives them self-confidence and opportunities and experiences that make them happy, carefree moments with exciting activities and imaginative celebrations. The foundation also promotes scientific research into diseases that affect children – including in Germany.
In order to realize these goals and projects, the Karl Bröcker Foundation needs financial resources. These are made up of the foundation’s assets and donations.
Foundation assets
The assets of the Karl Bröcker Foundation are broadly diversified. The largest position is the shareholding in Sedus Stoll AG, a company with family-run roots and social responsibility towards people and the environment. This is what the Karl Bröcker Foundation and the Stoll VITA Foundation stand for as the main shareholders.
In addition, there are some capital investments, some of which also fulfill the foundation’s purpose and guiding principle “Future for children”.
